Abstract |
John G. Thompson (1787-1868) was appointed provincial judge in the District of Gaspé court in 1827, and in 1859 he was named to the Superior Court of Gaspé. His Anglo-Norman Regency-style home, built c. 1838 in New Carisle, on the Baie-des-Chaleurs, is today a bed and breakfast.
