The memoir of Montreal born and educated labour and military historian Terry Copp. The author describes growing up in NDG in the 1940s and 1950s, attending Sir George Williams University (now part of Concordia University) and later McGill University. He describes teaching at Loyola College (now also part of Concordia) and McGill, before emigrating to Wilfrid Laurier University in Waterloo, Ontario, in 1975.
