Abstract |
Ten years in the life of George Jehoshaphat Mountain (1789-1863), Anglican Bishop of Quebec from 1837 to 1863, and his extended family. Mountain was the founder of the present-day Bishop's University. His daughter, Harriet, was married to her cousin, Jasper Nicolls (1818-1877), the first Principal of Bishop's College.
