Abstract |
In 1897, the Montreal Street Railway discovered counterfeit streetcar tickets and called in the police to investigate. Conductors Eli Harvey and William McKibbon, William’s brother Alexander, and more than twenty others were soon arrested for their involvement in the scheme.
