Abstract |
Includes medical biographies of such men as the Vermont-born Doctor Stephen Sewell Foster, one of the first medical men to practice in the Eastern Townships, who immigrated to the area in 1822. Others include the New Hampshire-born Doctor Moses French Colby, who arrived in the Townships in 1832, the Irish-born Edward Dagge Worthington, who began practicing medicine in 1843, and R. N. Webber, who began practicing in 1847.
