Abstract
The biography of the British-born Jonathan Barber (1784-1864), a medical doctor and a McGill University Professor of Oratory from 1859 to 1864. He was the father-in law of Christopher Dunkin (1812-1881) a Montreal and Eastern Townships lawyer, politician, and judge.
