Quebec’s English-Speaking Communities in the Year 2000: A Preliminary Report on the Omnibus Survey of the Attitudes and Experiences of English-Speaking Quebecers/Les communautés d’expression anglaise du Québec à l’an 2000
Abstract
A survey of Quebec’s English-speaking communities taken in the spring of 2000 shows that they feel insecure but that they also feel at home in and a part of Quebec. Their main concerns were access to health and social services and job-related issues, not the language on signs.
