| Abstract |
Morrin College (1862-1902) was Quebec City's first English-language institute of higher education. The school was founded on the initiative of Dr. Joseph Morrin (1794-1861), former mayor and prominent Quebec City doctor. He donated the money in September 1860 to the founding of a Presbyterian college bearing his name.
