Abstract |
Most of the members of the Beaver Hall Group, Montreal's first association of modern artists, were graduates of the Art Association of Montreal. The author outlines the group's members artistic training, in Montreal and abroad, to pinpoint where and when their paths crossed, both before and after the short-lived official existence (1920 to 1923) of the Beaver Hall Group.
