Abstract
Alexander Brott (1915-2005) was a Montreal conductor, composer, violinist and McGill University music teacher. He was on the Faculty of McGill from 1939 to 1980. Brott was the leader of the Montreal Orchestra, Les Concerts symphoniques de Montréal, and the Montreal Symphony Orchestra from 1945 to 1958.
