Abstract
Montreal writer A.M. Klein (1909-1972) is best known for his poetry and prose, but he was also a contributor to the Canadian Jewish Chronicle beginning in the early 1930s, and served as the paper's editor from 1938 to 1955. The author outlines Klein's journalistic interests, which included his support for Zionism, his aversion to anti-Semitism and discrimination at home and abroad, and the plight of Jewish refugees.
