Du vote bloc au vote social : le cas des citoyens issus de l’immigration de Montréal, 1995-1996

Abstract |
As a result of the growing linguistic integration since the 1980s of immigrants to Quebec into the French milieu, researchers are finding that the provincial electoral behaviour of these newcomers has become less predictable. Whereas at one time the assumption was that Quebec immigrants would automatically support the federalist option, the authors contend that there is now less predictably in voting patterns of these immigrants.
