Portrait statistique de la population d'origine ethnique juive, recensée au Québec en 2001
Abstract
According to the 2001 census, 82,450 people in Quebec declared themselves to be of Jewish ethnicity. Of these, 87.5 percent (almost nine out of ten) declared themselves to be of the Jewish faith. A total of 67.8 percent were born in Canada, and almost all lived in the Greater Montreal area. Other statistics dealt with gender, age, education, language used at home (mostly English), language used at work (mostly English), mean income, and types of employment.
