Enquête orale : Domaine A.S. Walbridge
|
| Abstract |
Alexander Solomon Walbridge (1828-1897), an Eastern Townships businessman, built Lakelet Hall, a twenty-five room, three-storied manor, in Mystic, in Missisoquoi County. The property also contained a twelve-sided barn. The manor house was abandoned and demolished in 1942, but the barn remains as a testament to Walbridge’s architectural ingenuity. The barn is now part of the Missisquoi Museum.
