Title |
A Sober Look at French-English Relations in Quebec
|
Abstract |
The author examines the cultural-linguistic situation in Quebec-based businesses, circa 1960s, and stresses the need for bilingualism for both French and English employees, and greater national mobility of French Quebec employees. He concludes that in such a context, "French-Canadians would get greater opportunities, and both sides would gradually abandon prejudice in favour of equity and efficiency."
