Le grand romancier de Montréal : mordant Mordecai, méchant Richler
Abstract
Montreal novelist and commentator Mordecai Richler (1931-2001) was often criticized for not using his writing to bring the city's two solitudes closer together. However, the author argues that Richler's works point out that the French- and English-speaking communities have many things in common: their defects.
