Abstract
An examination of Montreal's Greek community's reaction to the Bourassa Government's 1974 language policies under Bill 22, the Official Language Act. Bill 22 made French the sole official language of the province. Immigrant children were forced to take a language test to measure their proficiency in English if their parents wished them to attend an English-language school.
