Morphologie sociale et mariage à Saint Paul River
Abstract
St. Paul's River, on Quebec's Lower North Shore, is a small Anglophone fishing village between the communities of Old Fort Bay and Middle Bay. The author studied the social, religious and marriage relationships of the inhabitants of this mixed Protestant and Catholic village, circa 1968. In 1990, the village was merged with Old Fort and Middle Bay into the municipality of Bonne-Espérance.
