Waves of Change : Experiencing the Turbulent Years
Abstract
The second installment of the film project, produced by the English Language Arts Network (ELAN), titled Waves of Change, which documents an oral history of Quebec's English-speaking community within a 200-year narrative arc from 1820 to 2020. The author outlines the oral histories of the first three waves of immigration: families that arrived during the period of "two solitudes" prior to 1945, immigrants who arrived during the transnational period between 1945 and 1970, and people who arrived during the turbulent years from 1970 to 1995.
