Abstract
Founded in 1848 by the Jesuits, this college had an English sector, called St. Mary's College, for English-speaking (Irish) Roman Catholic boys. St. Mary's College separated from Collège Sainte-Marie in 1896 to become Loyola College, now part of Concordia University.
