Abstract
First published in 1901 after the author's death, and reprinted in 1970, this book contains an account of some military encounters during the Rebellion of 1837, including the attack on Saint-Charles-sur-Richelieu. The Irish-born Sydney Robert Bellingham (1808-1900) represented the district of Argenteuil in the Parliament of the Province of Canada and the Quebec Legislative Assembly for fifty years.
