Abstract
The author outlines Concordia University's Quebec English-Speaking Community Research Network (QUESCREN)'s "Popular History of English-Speaking Quebec," a project whose aim is to work with community groups to preserve and share the history of ordinary English Quebecers that will promote the vitality of this minority community and its place within the larger Quebec history framework. She explains that related to this project is the development of the Community Knowledge Open Library (CKOL), an open access online database of "gray literature" produced by English Quebec community groups but not commercially published (reports, briefs, audio-visual presentations, press releases, etc.). To date, more than 1,200 resources can be found on CKOL.
