Abstract
A study of the “aesthetic appropriation” of the 130,000-acre seigneury of Sainte-Anne de la Pérade by John and Elizabeth Hale, who purchased the property in 1819. Sainte-Anne de la Pérade is located between Trois-Rivières and Quebec City, on the north shore of the St. Lawrence River.
