Frank R. Scott (1899-1985) was a poet, professor of constitutional law and Dean of the Faculty of Law at McGill University and leading member of the socialist movement in Canada. The author points out how the Quebec City-born Scott used these three undertakings (poet, lawyer and socialist thinker) to influence a literary renaissance in Canada during his time
