Greek Canadians' Attitudes Toward Own Group and Other Canadian Ethnic Group: A Test of the Multiculturalism Hypothesis
|
Abstract |
Eighty-seven Greek-Canadian Montrealers were questioned about attitudes toward assimilation vs cultural maintenance, their own ethnic group, and other ethnic groups. The authors found that security about own group and culture relates to favourableness of attributions made to other groups, but not to willingness to interact with those groups.
