Abstract
The Provincial Association of Protestant Teachers of Quebec was formed in 1864 by John Hamilton Graham (1826-1899) and Jasper Hume Nicolls (1818-1877) as a federation of local teachers' associations. It was Canada's oldest provincial teaching association.
