| Abstract |
According to the author, recent historiography of Irish Quebec is concentrated along two main lines: comparing Quebec and Ireland, and examining the international relations that have occurred since the 1820s between French Canadians and the Irish in Quebec. He traces the evolution of the historiography of Irish Quebec and discusses the potential of this growing academic field.
