Une famille irlandaise à Québec au XIXe siècle: acquisitions et possessions
Abstract
A genealogical examination of the Irish-born John Flynn (1802-1888) and Catherine Darcy (1810-1885), and their seven children. The Flynn's immigrated to Quebec City sometime before 1851, the first time they are mentioned in a Canadian census. John Flynn was a businessman in Quebec City, where he owned property and boats. One of the John and Catherine Flynn's grand-children, Andrew Flynn, was the grand-father of the author's mother.
