City of Dorval Public Library
|
| Abstract |
Dorval is a city on the island of Montreal. The first Dorval Library was opened in 1953 in the sacristy of a local church, and was managed by a team of volunteers. Over the years the library thrived and grew, becoming a vital part of the community. The City of Dorval took on the administration of the library services and in 1967 the Library and Cultural Centre Complex was built. In 1996 a new Library building was opened.
