Title
Ninety-Nine Meetings: The Jewish Public Library of Montreal in its First Century
Abstract
The author examines the ninety-nine reports presented annually to Montreal's Jewish Public Library members at the library's Annual Meetings between 1914 and 2013. The author argues that the annual reports present a fair summary of the library's position and activities in each year under review and, taken collectively, make an appreciable contribution to the institution's history and represent the best means to begin to understand the Jewish Public Library in its first century.
