Abstract |
Collective biography of Italian-Montrealers which retrace the great moments of their settlement in Quebec. From Antonio Cordasco (1863-1921), who was crowned the "King of the Workers" in 1904, to the massive arrivals of the 1950s, including the imprisonments in the Petawawa camp of the so-called "enemy alien" Italians during the Second World War, this biography takes place under the sign of a multiple and dynamic identity that is embodied in the two protagonists of the film: Pierre Curzi (b. 1946) and Tony Nardi (b. 1958).
