| Abstract |
A catalogue accompanying a travelling exhibition in the early 1980s of art works of members of the Contemporary Arts Society (CAS). The CAS was founded in Montreal in 1939 by the American-born Montreal artist John Goodwin Lyman (1886-1967) to promote modern art in Canada. Following internal artistic disagreements by its members, the CAS was dissolved in 1948 by Lyman.
