Abstract |
The origins of the Marlow Settlement in Stanstead Township dates to 1799 when six men (John Justin - senior and junior, Elisha Miller, William Lanphier, Josiah Justin, and Abijah Mack) from Marlow, New Hampshire, made their way on foot to the Eastern Townships to establish the settlement. All were members of the Universalist society.
