| Abstract |
Quebec's English-speaking population is characterized by multiple identities that include regional diversity, education, generation, gender, income, bilingual capacity and community identification. An analysis by the author of a 2005 survey of more than 3,100 Quebecers who speak English most often in their homes found a community that shares views on several matters but also have divergent opinions based on such characteristics as socioeconomic status and region of residence.
