| Abstract |
The author found that a quantitative and qualitative analysis of images in French grammar and mathematics textbooks used in French-language Quebec schools in the last quarter of the twentieth century reveals a decrease in prejudice and an increase in the representation of ethno-cultural groups. On the other hand, her qualitative analysis of history and economic textbooks reveals a slight improvement in the representation of immigration and the ethnic reality in Quebec. However, the author concludes that an ethnocentric bias remains clear in the analysis of all these texts.
