| Abstract |
The author analyzes the production of the Korean-English radio project known as VOKO (Voice of Korea) on Montreal radio station CKUT 90.3 FM. The VOKO show began in 2000 and has been airing every Tuesday from 2pm to 3pm on CKUT. VOKO broadcasts in both English and Korean, and its content includes Korean news, literature, movie reviews and music, and Montreal Korean community news and local events. The author examines a sample program to demonstrate that bilingual ethnic radio facilitates the integration of this minority group into Montreal society.
