Diversity in the Québec Public Service : Action Plan : Members of Cultural Communities, Native Persons, Anglophones
|
Abstract |
This Action Plan proposed three orientations (increase hiring, informing and promoting awareness, and facilitating work-place integration) and ten actions to increase diversity in Quebec's public service. According to the report, there were 394 English-speakers working in Quebec's public service in 2003, or 0.7 percent of the workforce. Members of Quebec's cultural communities made up 2.3 percent of the public service personnel, while Indigenous individuals made up 0.4 percent of the public service personnel.
