Rawdon's Railway Centennial
Abstract
An examination of the history of railroads in Rawdon. The first railway to operate in the village was the Industry Village and Rawdon Railway, which opened in 1852, and went bankrupt in 1856. The Great Northern Railway of Canada brought service to the region again in the 1890s.
