L'adventure d'un immigrant d'Ambleside: Thomas Dawes
|
Abstract |
The author outlines the factual errors surrounding the history of Dawes Brewery in Lachine, Quebec. Many histories of Lachine or the brewery indicate that Dawes founded the company in that Montreal suburb in 1811. The author argues that the brewery was founded in 1826. The most well known beer produced by Dawes Brewery was Black Horse Ale.
