Abstract |
Michael Joseph Ahern (1844-1914) began the historical study of the medical profession in Quebec in 1910 with the publication of a series of biographies covering pioneering medical practitioners in Lower Canada. After his death, his son George (1887-1927) continued the publication of these texts. The authors cover the period up to the turn of the nineteenth century.
