Abstract |
A study of the different ways that Francophone and Anglophone nurses in Quebec achieved the status of "professional" in their jobs at the beginning of the twentieth century. Compared are the Anglophone nurses who worked at the Montreal General Hospital and the Francophone nurses who worked at Montreal's L'Hôpital Ste-Justine.
