| Abstract |
The author's assessment of the dire consequences of young Francophone Quebecers learning and speaking English. The author suggests that French Quebec be composed predominately of unilinguals, thereby forcing Anglophones and non-Francophone immigrants to communicate with the province's majority in French. His proposal would allow for a small percentage of French Quebecers to be bilingual, therefore allowing for some interaction with Anglophones inside and outside Quebec.
