| Abstract |
Montreal-born painter and art educator Anne Savage (1896-1971) studied at the Art Association of Montreal and in the United States. For twenty-six years Savage taught at Montreal's Baron Byng High School (1922-1948), and art education at McGill University (1954-1959). She was also a member of the Beaver Hall group of painters and in 1933 was a founding member of the Canadian Group of Painters.
