Most of the early practitioners of homeopathic medicine in Quebec were Anglophones. The Montreal Homoeopathic Association was incorporated in 1865, and the Montreal Homoeopathic Hospital was founded in 1894. The author gives a brief outline of the history of establishing the hospital, and lists all those associated with establishing and running the hospital until 1895.
