The biography of the American-born Dr. William V. Cone who co-founded with Dr. Wilder Penfield (1891-1976) the Montreal Neurological Institute (NMI) in 1934. Until 1959, Cone filled the twin roles of neurosurgeon-in-chief and neuropathologist at the NMI.
