Abstract |
A biography of Verdun-born Thomas Rochford Auburn (1917-1990), better known simply as Magic Tom, and considered during his career as "Canada's finest magician". From 1961 to 1975, Magic Tom hosted "Surprise Party" (re-named the "Magic Tom" show in 1966) on Montreal's CFCF-12 television, the most popular local English-language children's program during its fourteen-year run.
