The McGill Fortnightly Review: A Casual Reminiscence
|
Abstract |
Recollections by the author of an important "independent journal of literature and student opinion" that published between 1925 and 1927. The McGill Fortnightly Review helped introduce Modernism into Canadian poetry, as well as being the first of the "little magazines" in Canada. The author (1907-1997) helped found The McGill Fortnightly Review with Frank Scott and A.J.M. Smith.
