Abstract |
A pioneer in the death awareness movement, the American-born Dr. John D. Morgan introduced the formal study of death and bereavement to Canadian universities in 1967 at Loyola College, now part of Concordia University, in Montreal. It is believed to have been the first regularly scheduled course about death taught anywhere.
