Abstract |
The Montreal Camera Club evolved from a precursor group in 1892. It later amalgamated with the Camera Club at the Montreal Amateur Athletic Association. In 1932, the MCC again became a separate entity. The first president of the Montreal Camera Club was David Pearce Penhallow (1854-1910), Professor of Botany at McGill University, who served as the club's president to 1895.
