Abstract |
The author examines Quebec politics during the 1920s, a period of relative provincial prosperity, economic growth and expansion. The author looks at the results of three provincial general elections, those of 1919, 1923 and 1927. He includes an account of the differences in voting patterns between ridings with considerable English-speaking populations and those with large Francophone majorities.
